Men have entered the room! It looks like some men are flipping the script and embracing the soft life movement, obviously inspired by women who introduced the “soft girl era” and “I’m just a girl” rhetoric. What does it mean to be in your “soft guy” season?
We have an interesting list:
**Men are prioritizing a more relaxed, low-stress life, which means they are open to being cared for instead of being the ultimate provider. They, too, want to be wined and dined and pampered.

**The soft guy era shows men are not ashamed to embrace softer activities like a day at the spa and yoga, not just gym and sports. They too want the quiet, solitude and leisure that are beneficial for mental health.
**Men are willing to step back and watch women take the lead in areas that were once driven by patriarchal demands and expectations.
**Men do not want to do the chasing. They want to be approached for a change.
**They want to take aesthetically pleasing pictures too; they want vacation and try out new things.
**They are giving up on traditional masculine roles and relying on softness.

**The soft guy season, in some ways, confronts toxic masculinity, allowing men to be vulnerable. However, many people still believe it is an easy escape to laziness, and just another way to take up feminine spaces at a time where people are allowed to dictate their gender.
